Resolution
To check the serial number on Cisco platforms, refer to Cisco Product Identification Tool.
Use one of the methods below to indicate the product you want to find the serial number information for:
a) Search by product ID or model name .
b) Browse for Cisco model.
c) Copy and paste the output of show command to identify the product.
