This EEM policy monitors an interface link-up event and applies the startup-configuration lines related to that Ethernet interface.
This is used when an SFP interface loses layer1 settings as speed and duplex because the SFP is unplugged by mistake and reinserted.
Two optional environmental variables can be defined to explicitely restrict the policy to certain SFP types and specific configuration commands.
This policy can be used as a workaround for cases like the one described in CSCtj21335
