Managed with warnings Prime 1.4

 Hi,

We use  Cisco Prime 1.4 (1.4.0.45) and have the problem that the devices are in the stated " Managed with warnings" .

The SNMP and telnet parameters are correct and when I discover the device  it is managed but after a few days the state will be `Managed with warnings` 

In the logging I see the error

We see this on a CAT WS-C3560-G-48PS-S with IOS 12.2.(53)SE2   IPBASE-K9

Did anybody have this  problem also and does anyone know how to resolve this.

Yes! I have the same issue on a CPI 2.1 install but no fix.

Two out of four Nexus 5596 show up with Partial Collection Failure although their configs are identical (apart from being in two different data centers):

I also have the same problem. Have tried it it version 2.0 and 2.2 with no luck. Even tried factory reset on the Wireless controller - no luck. Strange thing is that the error is pointing to a SNMP connectivity issue, however when I do a snmp walk using Nagios it has no problem with snmp. Even the SNMP verify check in the Prime system can verify the snmp credentials. 

Did anyone find a solution to this ? I realise the thread was started 9 months ago...

Hi all,

Just had the same problem. Fixed it by checking the logins for telnet and ssh for every switch and entering them manually.

Under the "Device Work Center" select the switch/router/AP that is "Managed with warning", and click [Edit]. Enter the correct information here (check configuration on the switch/router/AP) and then click [Update and Sync] and within a few seconds the error is gone. Just refresh the page and you will see the results!
