Starting from NFVIS 3.12 versions, the deploy option does not depict all the SR-IOV VFs(Virtual Functions) available in a physical interface. This change is introduced as (i) the number of VFs of ENCS platform on LANs side is increased to 24 and (ii) the WAN physical NICs on platforms other than ENCS can have multiple VFs.
Figure 1: NFVIS GUI showing only one VF object
While connecting a vNIC to an SR-IOV VF object, the VF number has to be entered manually in the field available to the right side of the topology.
Figure 2: Fields to select the SR-IOV VF number while connecting a VM's vNIC to SRIOV VFs
List of available SRIOV networks(VFs) can be found using the following command.
