I know this is an older video. I attempted a similar configuration in a lab and have a hard time understanding why it limits you to using a link-local address. How are you supposed to advertise link-local subnets in dynamic routing protocols? Basically, I've seen many configuration examples that get you to the HSRP routers, but no further.
