Need help on generic Ned with Netconf Call Home

With netconf call home, netconf client uses ssh client protocol to establish connection with a managed device. The NSO 5.8 user guide states "SSH connection is established, and NSO is enabled to communicate with the device. " Does this mean the authentication is done outside of Ned? If that's the case, who creates NedWorker, Ned or NSO?

Hello @JennyW,

I found a couple of discussions on this topic with several links in them to more info.

Create your first Generic REST NED

Creating a GENERIC NED v 1.0

I hope this is helpful.

Thank you, I have gone through these discussions a couple of times, they did help a bit but not that much because the example doesn't use netconf call home. I have figured out most of the part how to do it.
