run command on device in background

Hello team,

I'm trying to run a command on Network Element from NSO, the command take up to 25min to complete that cause a timeout error.

Is there any option in ned that could allow running comman on NE in background?

Your command should already run in a separate thread. It sounds to me like your problem is that the command times out and not that it is blocking NSO, right? I suppose you simply will have to increase the timeout of that call.
