Hi, I am not able to link an interface with SFP-10G-T-X at 1G in cisco c1300xs:
te1/0/17 10G-Fiber -- -- -- -- Down -- --
NAME: "TenGigabitEthernet1/0/17" DESCR: "Cisco SFP-10GBase-T"
PID: SFP-10G-T-X VID: V01 SN: MTC28370218
do you know if tehre is any incompatibility?
Thanks!

Fiber interface does not have auto negotiation. 1G is 1G and 10G is 10G.

Hi,
Yes, I want to link at 1g speed full duplex, but it is not working. I am guessing the port 17 con c1300 xs is not compatible with copper SFPs. Do you know about it?
Thanks!

Hello @sebastian-andrada ,
If 1 Gbps is what you want, why don't you use GLC-TE, 1 G copper, which should be compatible with the Cisco 1300XS series:

Ok. Yes, the SFP-10G-T-X is compatible with the C1300SX series.
You can see this in the https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/ by searching after SFP-10G-T-X in the landing page and after that narrow your search by selecting C1300 from the left side menu. You will get a list of C1300 models that are compatible with SFP-10G-T-X.
