I need assistance on CISCO manages switch power wiring and contacted technical support however they are asking me to contact sales team. SO I am looking for the contact detail (E-mail ID). Below is my Question.
Question:
We are HVAC control contractor and using below mentioned CISCO Catalyst network switch at one of our projects.
- C1300-8T-E-2G
- C1300-16T-2G
Our question is, the network switch with 8-Port has external power while the network switch with 16-port has internal power. So can you please advise what is the difference between internal & external power?
Also please advise if both the above mentioned network switch are being provided with “POWER CORD (POWER ADAPTER)” by factory and we do not require to make special arrangement to power up the network switch except simply connect the power adapter with the 120V/1ph receptacle.
