Marketing PIDs and some Service PIDs that are approaching End of Life are not supported via RMAs.  When this happens, Part Supersession occurs.  This means that the part shipped out by Cisco will be similar but different PID that the PID that the customer is expected to return.

Supersession only applies to shipment lines.  Return lines should always display the information that the user has entered into the RMA.

Addtional information:

A few part supersession is enabled due to the compliance restriction.

Compliance restriction->The original PID is not allowed to be imported into local country, per the like-for-like policy, we have ot support the alternate part

I have an issue with a particular supersession:

"AIR-AP3802E-B-K9 is substituted for AIR-AP3802E-BBULK. Global Supersession Applied.
Supersession is applicable only for Shippable part "

The problem is, AIR-AP3802E-BBULK is a bundle of 10x AIR-AP3802E-B-K9 access points, and we only need to send one. How do we work around this?
