867VAE-K9 IOS update required

I am looking for an updated IOS file for my End of life product, currently using  "flash:c860vae-advsecurityk9-mz.151-4.M5.bin" and would like to update to allow the VDSL to work with my ISP.

What is the easiest way to do this.

I have gone through the CISCO process to acquire a SMARTNET purchase to acquire the IOS i need, only to be told the product is EOL and sorry you cannot get the IOS i need.

So what is next, can anybody help to acquire a simple file download.

Surely it cannot be that hard.

Sicne product is end of life you wont be able to get any latest update software, the one 15.X  code you have latest one (there may be few upgades after that)

and would like to update to allow the VDSL to work with my ISP.

where is this statement come from ?

As for the statement you highlighted, i am assuming the VDSL controller firmware is embedded in the IOS file, so updating this would load a newer version to help connectivity to my ISP AUSSIE BB
