I have a WS-C3850-48F-L Catalyst 3850, but no service contract.
Reading the recent Service Advisory, cisco-sa-snmp-dos-sdxnSUcW, I'm told to contact the CISCO TAC for support. Calling the TAC, I was told that they wouldn't help me, even though the advisory says:
Customers Without Service Contracts
Customers who purchase directly from Cisco but do not hold a Cisco service contract and customers who make purchases through third-party vendors but are unsuccessful in obtaining fixed software through their point of sale should obtain upgrades by contacting the Cisco TAC: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tsd-cisco-worldwide-contacts.html
Customers should have the product serial number available and be prepared to provide the URL of this advisory as evidence of entitlement to a free upgrade.
I'm looking to download CAT3850/3650 UNIVERSAL, file, cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.13.SPA.bin, from https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286280419/type/282046477/release/Gibraltar-16.12.13.
Do I have any options?
