Please, I need to change the primary email address of my CSCO account. I am not going to use the actual email anymore; so, I would like to know the steps to change it. thanks a lot

I would go to Cisco . com and login. Then, click on your icon and select Profile. then go to Personal , check your email and see if you can change email right there. if not , you should see link to Help on changing email address guide, which may lead you to this page

That site explicitly states that you would need to create a new account in order to use a new email address. However, information pertaining to the old account may not transfer to the new.
This is (to be polite) a bit surprising, as this is a pretty basic thing to ask. What we're seemingly being told is that if we want to keep our information, we cannot change email accounts - which will remain the case indefinitely. This makes very little sense.
