Packet Tracer Switchports are coming up inverted...why?

So I chose a PT-Switch-Empty and I added the ports to it. All the port numbers are coming up inverted? Why is this?

Choice of PT developers; Note that there is no empty switch in real world;  Switches come with fixed ports and types. 

PT just gives you a hand (option) to choose different Ethernet type ports to experiment and in case you need;  This is just home lab.  Otherwise, PT would have to include various models of switches with fixed different ports.
