Packet Tracer

Hello There 

I am an old day school student of cisco (CCNA ) need to refresh  and tried to download and run Packet Tracer on iMac PC and Macair laptop both responded with error "no mountable files found " anybody out there help me out ?

It seems to me that you didn't download the right installer for your Mac.

You can download the Packet tracer installer from this link: https://www.netacad.com/portal/resources/packet-tracer

You will need to login in the netacad.com site in order to download the file.

thank you for your time . However i did lov in to cisco netacad and all the steps suppose to go thru but result Are with error Messages no mountable file system seems software incompitablity 

if any body out there have old version of packet tracer for trial

Jump on the netacad.com and download the latest version supported for your Mac. You probably done some google search for those installation files as well.

Hello atakiltid,

After downloading Cisco packet tracer, also check you system is meeting the following requirements:

• Computer with one of the following operating systems:  macOS 10.14 or newer.
• amd64(x86-64) CPU
• 4GB of free RAM
• 1.4 GB of free disk space

You can install Cisco Packet tracer 8.2 only if your mac version is 10.14 or later, otherwise installation ends with error message.

thank you it might be the Malin case for the error Messages   my I Mac OS is 10.8.5 version 

is there any old.  Version of packet tracer ?

Hi atakiltid ,

You can't find the older versions of packet tracer from the  official websites (Netcad/Skillforall)

However, you can do a quick google search for Packet tracer 7.3.0 for mac, you might be able to download it from third party website...which is not recommended when your device is part of  your  organization  network,  if you are using it on your personal device, you might be able to  manage with that.  Completely your choice...
