SSH connection to Routers or Switch in GNS3 using IP address of devices into PuTTy or Secure CRT

I tried all the way but not getting a solution to connect my gns3 topology devices through SSH using an IP address in PuTTy or Secure CRT. If anyone has the solution kindly help me out.

Hi 

If you are trying to ssh from your pc/laptop then you need to connect gns3 device to the external network.

line vty 0 4

login local

transport input all

 

username x password y

 

ip domain-name cisco.com

 

crypto key generate rsa

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks for your reply Sir. But this is minimal configuration required for SSH and so you can access your device from the device only using ssh.

GNS3 comes with Putty build in, no need for external link just to be able to use Putty

Thanks for your reply, sir. But that is available for telnet connection to GNS3 images. My query is for access to the device using the IP address directly in the PuTTy with ssh connection.
