Add new domains to OpenDNS blocking lists (on your side)?

Hello,

I have been a long user of OpenDNS and I am more than happy at this service.

I have blocked all file sharing websites in my office using OpenDNS.

However, recently I see that a lot of new websites (and by new I mean websites release 2 to 3 years ago) are not being added to OpenDNS's blocking lists.

File sharing sites such as "catbox.moe" and "put.re" are not being added to OpenDNS "File Sharing" sites lists.

It seems you must raise a support ticket, link "Submit a request" above. We other users really cannot help you.

Thanks @rotblitz but my concern is towards the fact that shouldn't there be an automated system that finds and detects new domains and add them to the list?

Probably just how they made the first list of domains and their categories.

No, there is no fact of an automated system.  It's community effort and a pure manual process.

See https://community.opendns.com/domaintagging/faq/
Feel free to contribute to it - it's up to also you!

@rotblitz
Oh, I see.
In that case let me contribute to the community by adding the domains I know.

Thank you for your help.

It can take a longer time until the domains are categorized.  Therefore I suggested you raise a support ticket.  This will be much quicker.

The domains are already in the system, but for other categories, not P2P/File Sharing, and no category approved yet.
