Blocked sites still able to open

Whenever I type in a site that's blocked, it comes up with the site not secure message but I'm still able to get around it. Is there a way to completly block a site altogether? Or will it at least show up in my history if it is visited?

All DNS traffic which you send to OpenDNS will appear in your stats.
