Hi everyone, I really need your help.
Can I block the game server of this game:
Mobile Legends
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d.etails?id=com.mobile.legends&hl=en
I've been searching the web on how to block this game but I can't seem to find its game server's hostname. I successfully blocked the game's official website but not its game servers. I'm really new to OpenDNS. I wish someone could help me.
Thank you!!

If this app doesn't use DNS to connect to the game servers, but e.g. IP addressing instead, you're out of luck with blocking it with OpenDNS. You had to block the related IP address ranges, protocols and ports on the router.
If the app uses DNS, then you should find the related domain names in your OpenDNS domain stats.
https://dashboard.opendns.com/stats/all/topdomains
Whatever, before you try or research anything, you should ensure that your Android device uses OpenDNS.
You visit http://welcome.opendns.com/ with it. As long as it doesn't use OpenDNS, there is no way for your dashboard settings taking effect.

Thank you for the info. That's my problem, I don't have any idea if the app uses IPs or DNS. I tried logging my network and it showed a couple of IP addresses that the app interacts with. Maybe I'll try to block those using the router. I don't have any clue how, more research I guess.
My android device is currently using OpenDNS. I tried blocking facebook and it worked. Just this particular app.
Thanks again!

To find out details like hostnames, IP addresses or ports being used, best is to contact the author of the app. They should know.
Btw, the link you posted is broken for me, and Google Play says they cannot find this page.

I wish they would give me that. I ran a network log, and some IP addresses point to cloud computing sites. Tried blocking them but still no luck.
Thanks for the help, rotblitz!
This is the working link, I may have added a dot in "details" by accident:

I just got to login this year again on my account, but you probably know the answer to your question, but anyway, just for others searching, you can block mobile legends game in your network, by blocking ports 3000-30999
