can't resolve xsplit.com

xsplit.com is unreachable from my home router. But the site is up (verified by various reporting sites AND my ability to reach the site via cell network).

Have reset my router to no avail.

When I try to ping xsplit.com, my router doesn't appear to be able to resolve the address (i.e. it can't figure out its IP address)

I do not wonder, because ping is in no way a tool to troubleshoot anything DNS related.  In fact, it is useless for most things nowadays.  You'll have to use DNS tools like dig, nslookup or host.

nslookup www.xsplit.com.

Agreed re limited utility of ping these days, but for my purposes it was a simple place to start, and told me that there was something wrong beyond my network.

Looks like there was a problem relating to the site (possibly a host change and delayed propagation?) yesterday, with OpenDNS servers in Chicago unable to resolve the domain for a while (resolved yesterday afternoon).
