I'm wondering if OpenDNS could have anything to do with the inability of (my Windows-installed) Plex Media Server to automatically configure a port-forward on the router.
Now, my question may sound like I understand port-forwarding and such; I really don't, but I'm trying to learn what I need to to resolve the Plex auto-configuration fail.
So, please 'speak to me like I'm a fifth grader'. ;-) Thanks!

Generally media servers set port-forwards so that you can access media remotely. I don't see why OpenDNS would have any effect, unless you have blocked access to the Plex website through your OpenDNS account settings. If you've done that, it should appear in your "blocked" stats within 24 hours.

Thank you for your reply.
With a little more research, I did find reference at the Plex forum that there have been Plex/OpenDNS issues, so I will pursue it futher there.
Just a side note: I picked up a little Spanish many years ago when I lived in Idaho. Am I right that your username means "cold beer"?

What issue? There was no OpenDNS related issue.

OpenDNS blocks plex.direct and plex.tv with web content filtering so I had to allow the domains in my OpenDNS dashboard (I have a paid account and I'm not sure you can do it without a paid account). It is under Settings-->Web Content Filtering:
