So I read here that Android is going have a new feature allowing DNS over TLS. Is this feature supported by OpenDNS?

None or all of them are IETF standards, or RFCs. Just that your router or what else supports only one doesn't leave a good impression about the manufacturer. And no reason to come up and insist in having this one implemented.

"None or all of them are IETF standards, or RFCs" what is this supposed to mean? This sentence makes no sense to me.
DoH and DNS over TLS are standards proposed by IETF, while DNSCrypt is not.
Let me translate to you what I am saying. I want to use a standard proposed by IETF but I don't want to use DoH. The reasons for this are stated here
My router uses Asuswrt-Merlin operating system which is open source. It supports DNS over TLS but also DNSCrypt, I am not sure about DoH.
So to return to my original question: will OpenDNS support DNS over TLS in the future ? It is a standard, it offers a good encryption and the other big DNS providers (Google, Quad9, Cloudflare, ...) are supporting it already.

Fingers crossed that OpenDNS will answer it.
