Hello,
I read everywhere that DNSCrypt-Proxy is available for download from http://download.dnscrypt.org/dnscrypt-proxy/, but this page is on 404 since some time now. Thanks for advice.
Also, as I recall it, above mentioned page (available on Google cache dated 07-11-2013) has always shown latest version of dnscrypt-proxy-win32 in zip format (1.3.0 at this time) always behind other builds (1.3.1). I don't understand this as well.
Thanks for help.

You're right. But now it works again.

Indeed it is, the very same day I mentioned it. Gosh, that's life.
Any idea why the zip format at this time is still version 1.3.0 when other builds are 1.3.2 ? Must it be understood that the zip is offered as stable when other builds are for testing ? I cannot test, the only thing I can do is unzip and go for a --install. I'm very smart besides a gap ot two (make it three !)
Thanks.

"Any idea why the zip format at this time is still version 1.3.0 when other builds are 1.3.2 ?"
No idea, the author may comment on this. The other builds may contain stuff not being applicable for Windows.
"Must it be understood that the zip is offered as stable when other builds are for testing ?"
No, they do no longer offer beta versions currently. These are (or were) all stable, as far as I know..
"I cannot test, the only thing I can do is unzip and go for a --install."
You can invoke it interactively from the command line too. Btw, I use the version 1.3.0 too, no problems.

Thanks rotblitz for this information. To be frank I had stopped using DNSCrypt-Proxy 1.3.0 when the download page above mentioned was no longer accessible, wondering if there wasn't any problems related to DNSCrypt-Proxy that would have caused the page shut-down. I'll be back therefore to OpenDNS with DNSCrypt-Proxy 1.3.0 as it had always from the outside installed, paused, uninstalled and functioned perfectly well. I say "from the outside" in the way a body can run and still be ill.
Fine. - Thanks again.
