I'd like to block any site with specific keywords in its URL. The domain wildcards aren't enough, and are pathetically simplistic and shortsighted, allowing for ZERO dynamic blocking.
For example, if we were able to add "*nude*" to our rules, not only would "nude.com" be blocked, but so would things like "nudebimbos.com" or "google.com/?q=nude+celebrities" .
Is there any way to do this, and if not, why?

Hello!
Unfortunately, there's no way to do this with our service. This is because our system only cares about the domain names involved, and needs a full domain name to be valid. In your example, "nudebimbos.com" is different than "google.com/q=nude+celebrities", because not only are they different domains, but the later isn't a domain at all of itself, but rather a URL for a Google search. Additionally, nudebimbos.com is different than nudemodels.com, and because they're different domains, they have different responses. Since our service only relies on domain names, you can't specify a keyword to be blocked that would then apply to other domains.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

If you use a router which supports blocking by keywords, you can use this.
For example for Netgear routers: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20483/
