How can I do to automatically update the IP set in the dashboard?

There's an app that will automatically update your IP when it changes: https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227987867-What-is-the-OpenDNS-Dynamic-IP-updater-client

Thanks.

This software runs on a pc. This means that if the IP of the router change, only when this pc use the net, OpenDNS recive the new IP.

is it correct?

Thanks!

Yes, that's correct.  You need to find a system that's on all the time to run the Updater software.

Some routers can also do Dynamic DNS and can call our API to keep the IP updated

I haven't tried setting that up yet, but I read about the possibility.  Does that method have more clout to override the OpenDNS Updater error that "Your IP address is taken by another user"?  That's what I've been battling the last few days.

You need to open a support ticket to have that resolved I think.

Okay, thanks.  I was hoping that an IP address from the router and API would have a higher clearance level.  I already tried submitting a support ticket, but they aren't realistic in their advice they have reiterated twice now:  "you will need to provide the name of your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and ask them to provide verification that they own the IP address in question and have leased this specific IP address to you (a work order from the ISP, for example). The documentation from the ISP must include the specific IP address and your email address and name."

I can't imagine any ISP that would provide that information.  I've been able to change my IP address 3 times now and I still get the same error.
I've been using, and recommending, OpenDNS for many years, but sadly, it looks like I'll be trying NextDNS next to see if they can handle the situation any better.
