Why do you think that this service is being used? No, your thinking is wrong. What you see in your OpenDNS stats is your DNS traffic, i.e. what domains have been looked up in DNS to obtain e.g. their IP addresses or other information. It is in no way a log about what connections have been made or what services have been used. DNS is the phone book of the internet, not the phone lines. Also, DNS lookups are normally not raised by human users, but by networking programs within your network.
The most likely culprit may be web browsers with DNS prefetching enabled. This looks up every domain it finds at any web page, regardless of if it ever will be connected to. You may be able to disable DNS prefetching in browsers to eliminate this noise.
