Why am I getting this Error??

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

This looks like it is unrelated to DNS, but a TCP/IP (HTTP) error.  When it comes to a connection, DNS is already over and gone.  You'll need to contact the owner of that web server.

I am having this issue as well. However when I disable OPENDNS (208.67.220.220) and use 8.8.8.8 or ISP DNS, the problem goes away.

So it seems its somehow related to OpenDNS.  Here is an example

Here is a sample of a link I am trying to access:
When using OPen Dns
Get your copy now: http://www.emediapress.com/go.php?offer=qiman&pid=73

and when I click on it, it redirects to: http://qiman.emedia123.hop.clickbank.net/?offer=qiman&pid=73

which gives me a "connection was reset notice."

If I disable Opendns in the router... (208.67.220.220) and use 8.8.8.8 or other DNS, I can access these kind of pages with no problem.
Any ideas? Im not getting a blocked page, just a "connection was reset while loading"  Its mostly on sites, like clickbank as an example. But this is the one Im having trouble with currently. I only noticed this problem in the last 6 months. I used to have no problem.
Thankyou for your time
Bryan

Using Fiddler to troubleshoot whats happening I get this response.

  • [Fiddler] ReadResponse() failed: The server did not return a complete response for this request. Server returned 0 bytes.

Problem happens on other computers as well on the network, tried different browsers etc. Problem goes away when I use

another DNS server. Is the address badlly formed or a new type of format being used on these kind of banking  connections that

    opendns doesnt like?
