NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

I've just joined and am getting the following error on https site

NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Subject: *.opendns.com

Issuer: DigiCert Secure Server CA

Expires on: Dec 23, 2015

Current date: Feb 8, 2015

PEM encoded chain: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----

ipconfig /flushdns did the trick !

Well did for google/ youtube but not all sites such as yahoo.

This always happens when you try to access a HTTPS page which domain you have blocked by your OpenDNS settings, because you are presented with an OpenDNS certificate ("Subject: *.opendns.com"), not with the site's certificate.  It is normal that browsers raise a warning message then.

Just as rotblitz said, this means the site you are trying to access is being blocked by your opendns settings. The browser is doing exactly as intended by raising an alarm (it is expecting one site, but getting the certificate for another one, in this case opendns).
