OpenDNS not accepting IP address on new school computer

We have used OpenDNS for several years to control what is being searched, viewed, interacted with, etc on my son's school issued computer. It has worked great. This year he was issued a new school computer and OpenDNS is not accepting the new IP address. When I try to add it, I'm sent an email to confirm it by a link provided. The link then tells me that the IP address I'm trying to add doesn't match the one I can control. Thanks in advance.

Your computer is directly configured for another DNS Server, and therefore is bypassing the OpenDNS settings on your router. Resolution 1: Check the configuration on your computer to ensure that different DNS server settings are not configured.

Do the following:
Create an account and login to your Dashboard.
Go to the Settings tab.
Add a network using your current IP address (displayed on the page).
Click your new network's IP address to access its settings.
Click "Advanced Settings" on the left.
