Hello
Quick question:
The OPENDNS-UPDATER-2.2.1.exe runs on a Windows Server 2012.
How can I prevent the program from quitting when logging off at the server console?
And how do I ensure that the program is started without user logon when the server is started?
Unfortunately I did not find a working server service...
Thank you for your help
Greetings

In brief: you cannot. This Updater is not supposed to work as you expect it to work. You better uninstall it again.
If you want an Updater which runs as Windows service in the background without the need of the installer user being logged in, you can use Marc's Updater instead. This was the official Updater ten or more years ago.

Thanks.
I changed the installation, Marc's Updater was the solution.
But btw, is there a solution, that users can not change the dns entry on windows lan configuration (Clients are Windows 10)?
Our AD GPO doesn't work, because the users of the specific Windows 10 Clients are in the group of the local Administrators.
