Not really sure what to do with that information. I just reinstalled the updater after not using it for a few years.
Clearly I have Internet connectivity, or I wouldn't be able to post this message.
Thanks for any help.

I hadn't used OpenDNS in a few years, and in the meantime, I had moved. First, I had to set the OpenDNS IP addresses in my router. This post was useful for that since I'm on Verizon FiOS: https://community.verizon.com/t5/Fios-Internet-and-High-Speed/G3100-and-Asserting-Cisco-Umbrella-OpenDNS-Settings/td-p/1549040
But here's the OpenDNS setup guide: https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/
Then I had to go to the OpenDNS dashboard (https://dashboard.opendns.com/) to choose my current network.
Then it just kind of started working. I think that most of it was having to remind myself of how OpenDNS works.
Hope that's helpful.
