OpenDNS updater shows no IP

I've reviewed previous posts relating this issue but none of them are relevant to my issue.

OpenDNS has previously worked in my home. I have set up open DNS on my home router successfully. My internet stopped working and I had to factory reset my router to resolve this. I have re-added open DNS settings to my router, tested open DNS and it was working correctly, as well as the opendns updater working correctly. I left my home computer alone,  but it rebooted itself (Unknown why) and now opendns updater shows no IP address and that I do not have open dns installed.

However my  router settings are all the same and when I test opendns (like internetbadguys.com) it says I am using open DNS. The only issue is that my custom filtering is not working since opendns updater is not running properly. Ive run nslookup tests with the following results:

nslookup -type=txt debg.opendns.com. 208.67.220.220

---
C:\Users\theoc>nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com. 208.67.220.220
Server: resolver2.opendns.com
Address: 208.67.220.220

Non-authoritative answer:
debug.opendns.com text =

"server m61.chi"
debug.opendns.com text =

"flags 20 0 8050 180000000000000000003950000500000000000"
debug.opendns.com text =

"originid 259359418"
debug.opendns.com text =

"actype 2"
debug.opendns.com text =

"bundle 11997524"
debug.opendns.com text =

"source 140.186.23.137:52585"

C:\Users\theoc>nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com.
Server: resolver1.opendns.com
Address: 2620:119:35::35

Non-authoritative answer:
which.opendns.com text =

"m92.ash"

C:\Users\theoc>nslookup myip.opendns.com
Server: resolver1.opendns.com
Address: 2620:119:35::35

Name: myip.opendns.com
Address: 2001:48f8:3028:8d5:d6c:c3d1:1ebb:4f9f

I'd like to get this working and as a second issue I wonder why openDNS took down my internet in the first place, although I think that may have been a mistake with the router or updater since it was working before without issue.

The problem is that OpenDNS has no full IPv6 support yet, and you cannot register an IPv6 address at your dashboard, and the OpenDNS Updater cannot deal with IPv6 addresses.  But there is an easy solution.

If you replace the DNSv6 resolver addresses 2620:119:35::35 and 2620:119:53::53 (which do not take care of your individual dashboard settings) by two addresses from the following list, your problems should have gone.
::ffff:d043:dede   ::ffff:d043:dcdc   ::ffff:d043:dedc   ::ffff:d043:dcde

"why openDNS took down my internet in the first place"

This is not what a service like OpenDNS would be able to do. :)
This could be done by ISPs only.

Am i supposed to just copy those addresses and use them as an alternate dns addresses under IPv6?

Yes.
