Site is blocked on one computer, but not another.

I'm blocking adult content from my children. I set up open DNS on my laptop by logging into the account and going through the steps. Things are blocked on my laptop, but not the laptop the kids are using. Any solution?

If you only configured OpenDNS for your laptop, then nothing else on your network, including your kids laptop, will be protected by OpenDNS. You either need to configure things on the kids laptop as well, or follow the preferred method and set things up on your router.

This may seem like a dumb question, but do I need to create a new account on the kids laptop? I logged in on it with my account and everything looked like it did on mine, but nothing was blocked.

No one said anything about creating a new account. It will not work anyway to have two accounts trying to use OpenDNS from the same public IP address.

No one said anything about logging into the website from another computer either. I can log into my OpenDNS account from any computer anywhere in the world, but that still has no impact on the individual configuration of individual devices on my network.

What I did say is that you either need to configure things on the kids laptop just like you did on your laptop (laptop configuration, not website configuration), or to follow the preferred method and set things up on your router.

Since I have absolutely no idea of the specifics of how you configured things on your laptop I can't provide any more detailed information than that.

"I logged in on it with my account and everything looked like it did on mine, but nothing was blocked."

Then you didn't configure OpenDNS for this computer. i.e. you didn't configure the OpenDNS resolver addresses on it or on your router as mattwilson9090 said.
You can check here if you're using OpenDNS: http://welcome.opendns.com/
