I keep getting these types of things on my stats. I have no clue what they are. They are under domains on my dns everything. Does anyone have a clue as to what they are. My suspicions are it may perhaps be chrome incognito.

Maybe related to Conficker? http://conficker.more.net/

Okay I ran several types of software including Microsoft that scans specifically for Conficker and nothing comes up. Not even spyware on my comp, however,

we just bought 2 Nexus 4's which are connected to our wifi. Not sure what is going on with those strange letters.

Another question I have is, I have the free opendns configured on my router and then purchased the protection and did not remove the numbers from my router.

Should I do that? Should I reset my router and just use the opendns that I pay for?

I am asking because I thought I read something about confusing opendns.

Thank you again

What exact "protection" did you buy? Is this from OpenDNS?

No matter what you bought, the OpenDNS resolver addresses are always the same, and if you remove/replace them, OpenDNS  doesn't normally work anymore at all. This would be the method to generally disable OpenDNS use.

Home VIP

Then, if you remove the OpenDNS resolver addresses, it doesn't work any longer. This is not the difference between the free and VIP version.

Yes from opendns.com bought the package so I can monitor websites and block sites at my choice. However before I did that I configured my router with the

208.67.222.123

Yes, this is the same, for Home Free and Home VIP. VIP just has more whistles and bells, that's it. From a technical perspective they work the same.

So basically leave it on my router then?

Ah, you configured FamilyShield with predefined content filtering before. You didn't have to do, You could have used Home Basic where the differences to Home VIP are minimal.

You may now consider to use the other OpenDNS addresses instead: 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220, 208.67.222.220, 208.67.220.222.

use all of them?

As many as you have DNS entry fields on the router. All DNS server fields should be filled with OpenDNS resolver addresses.
