Trying to block bbc

I'm trying to block BBC on the OpenDNS Web Content Filtering. It appears not to work. I can't tell if it's because BBC use HTTPS or not, although I don't see how that would be related. I've used: Always Block: bbc.co.uk

In order for any dashboard settings taking effect, there must be these prerequisites:

  1. You must use OpenDNS.  Check at http://welcome.opendns.com/
  2. Your IP address must be correctly registered at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/
  3. You should flush your local caches once after the settings change.

In your case one of these conditions is apparently not met.

Had the same issue not certain why but I ended up having to block both bbc.co.uk and www.bbc.co.uk not sure if its something in thier DNS config or what but just blocking bbc.co.uk seems not to catch most things (despite the the claim you only need the root. Also you'll have to block bbc.com and www.bbc.com if you want to completely supress the extorsionists.
