Upload and download issues with OpenDNS.

I tried OpenDNS for the first time today and I was having issue with uploading a video to youtube and completing speed test on speedtest.net. With youtube the video uploads got stuck at random spots. With speedtest.net the download portion of the test got stuck at near the end and never completing it. I tried these two multiple times with the same result each time. Once I removed OpenDNS everything went through without issue. I have web spam, adware and typo squatting enabled. What could be the issue? Thanks.

The issue could be that you are too far away from the next OpenDNS location, or your ISP and the network carriers have set up lousy routes.
