I have a question regarding the ONS 15400 machine.

Can the following blade 15454 - ad-4c-54.1  ONS 15454 OADM - 4 Chs - 100GHz - 54.13-54.94-55.75-56.55 works in modality 2 channel only, deactivating 2 lambda so to avoid the DB Loss?

Can someone tell me details how to configure it in this way - please indicate details?

Thanks a lot.

Lorenzo

The ad-4c-54.1 is a fixed wavelength filter.  You cannot deactivate lambdas to reduce the losses through the filter.  There are built in optical attenuators to help balance the systbands of wavelengths.

I hope this answers your question.

Hi Tom,

sorry for late answering. First of all thanks really a lot for your clarification.

is it possible to have from you if you know, if i do not ask for too much, the command how to do it?

is it possible to keep the frequency as low as possible such in a way that the db loss is min?

thanks
