Hi,
we have the Cisco ONS 15454 with CE 1000-4 card and OC-192SR STM64IO card. We cross connected one CE 1000-4 card to the OC-192SR card on 1 STS. We then fiber connected the OC-192SR port to another Sonet ADM which terminates the Ethernet connection via its GigE port. We have Linux machines connected at both ends. When I performed a ping from one end to the end, I noticed that the ping will go thru normally every 9 out of 10 times. But the 10th one will take closed to or over 1 sec to perform. Do you know what could have cause this delay?
