Cisco catalyst 9200 sfp module issue

Dear community.
I am stuck up on the SFP issue.
I have Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU3M.
When I am trying to connect something to a 10g port with these SFP, it is not working at all. But when I connect other devices with these SFPs everything works fine.
I can see via console connection updates when the module is connected or disconnected, but it is not starting communication. Are there any additional commands on 9200 to start 10gb SFP ports to work?

Thank you for your attention.

Best regards,

Ivan

Is the other one another C9200L-24T-4X?  If not, what model is it?

Do the above test to the same switch and see if the switch can "see" both ends.

What is the exact model of the switch?  9200 have several sub-models and they hinge upon 1-, 10- or 25 Gbps uplinks.  If the model number does not have an "X" in it, then it will only support 1 Gbps.

Dear Leo Laohoo,

sorry for the delay.
it is a C9200L-24T-4X switch.
It has 4 10g SFP ports.
Fiber is ok.
i connect with no issues other Cisco appliances and appliances from other brands.

also in console I can see information about connecting and disconnecting of the SFP.

Best Regards.
Ivan.

Ok, so it is a 9200 with fixed uplink ports and support 10 Gbps optics.

What happens if the SFP-H10GB-CU3M is "loop" to a another port in the same switch, does the link go up?

Check the logs when inserting the cable.  Is there any errors generated when the cable gets inserted?

Dear Leo Laohoo,

The connection between two ports goes well:
bellow is the console output:

9200-1#
*Jun 14 19:05:05.383: %PLATFORM_PM-6-MODULE_REMOVED: SFP module with
interface name Te1/1/4 removed
*Jun 14 19:05:31.475: %PLATFORM_PM-6-MODULE_INSERTED: SFP module inserted
with interface name Te1/1/1
*Jun 14 19:05:46.100: %PLATFORM_PM-6-MODULE_INSERTED: SFP module inserted
with interface name Te1/1/2
*Jun 14 19:05:48.221: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/1,
changed state to up
*Jun 14 19:05:48.248: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/2,
changed state to up
*Jun 14 19:05:49.222: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface
TenGigabitEthernet1/1/1, changed state to up
*Jun 14 19:05:49.246: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface
TenGigabitEthernet1/1/2, changed state to up
9200-1#

But I still have issues connecting these fiber ports to other devices.
But other devices connect fine with each other but not with this 9200.

Thank you.

Best Regards.

Dear Leo Loahoo,

I just started righting you the answer, and look carefully to specs, and
found out that I was trying to connect 1gb fiber port on the other device
to the 10gb port fiber on the 9200, and that was the reason, that it was
not working.
I was sure that all SFP ports on the other device are 10gb, but it was not
true. only two ports are 10gb, and all the others sfp are 1gb SFP.
Now everything is working.

Thank you for your help.

Best Regards.

Ivan Zabaluyev.

I'm getting a rather peculiar error between spf 10G-SR 9300 and 9200,

I change port to layer 3  - no switch port and set IP test them same subnet both 9200 and 9300 but ping not ok.

I use modul cisco 10G-SR and fiber cable MMF-OM3-3m. Test with other device sure cable and modul is ok.
