CWDM Link Failure

Currently using C3550-12T with CWDM-GBIC-1610 to CWDM-Mux-8 connecting to C355048G with Same GBIC.

Using SM Fiber with attenuators on both ends length about 25KM

Using 12.1(13)EA1 code on both switches.

Media type on Gig interfaces show up as CWDM-1470? not 1610?

Everything works fine but we have experienced 2 link failures between buildings.

When you reload the remote router the link comes active again.

Any ideas short of blaming the fiber?

I am not sure where the problem is. May be a BERT (Bit error rate test) will isolate the fiber issue.

Any other thougts?
