Google fiber vendors

Greetings,

I have one question about Google Fiber. Anyone know which vendor they are using for their network box and the optical transport equipment? As you know, network security is a big deal. I want to make sure that they are using reliable vendors like Cisco before I make my choice for my ISP. Thanks.

That is going to depend on a lot of factors. I am not sure what hardware they are using, although we do have some customers that are installers for Google Fiber. They buy fiber, racks, and random infrastructure components from us but they already have a hardware plan.

From a security perspective I would be worried about a lot of things before I worried about the security of anything Google was doing! haha.
