we have noticed that the ONU (ME4624-ONT-RGW) is EOS now.

could someone inform me what is the replacement of this item?

According to the EoL Product Bulletin, "There is no replacement available for the Cisco ME 4600 Series Multiservice Optical Access Platform GPON Components at this time."

I would suggest reviewing some other GPON vendor's products.
