problem with link aggreagation with copper to fiber media converter in betw

when normal link aggregation(without media converter in between) it works fine but when a media converter is in between it goes down..

It probably means that your media converters are not passing the electrical link state messages through .

There are numerous other reports on forums with similar problems..

Not sure what the answer is but you could prove this by debug the lacp packets on the interface without and then with to see if update packets are missing..

Hopefully someone else can help short of buying new cards/gbics.
