X2-10G-LR and SFP-10G-LR

Hi, 

 I have an old switch WS-C4503-E (Sup 6) having the X2 10G module slot and another site is new 4503-E (Sup 7) having the SFP 10G slots, 

now i want to communicate between this two switches using X2-10G-LR and SFP-10G-LR, so is it possible or not ?

Please suggest.

Yes it is possible.  What is the distance between the two?

 Maximum distance is 7km and minimum 20mtrs.

As Leo Laohoo indicated, you can interconnect your two switches with a X2-10G-LR on one end and a SFP-10G-LR on the other.  These optical transceivers are qualified to 10km using singlemode fiber.  No attenuator is required for the shorter distance.
