Hello,
do someone knows where the PIN code is stored in CCM 4.x (in DC Directory I presume). The password is store hashed in LDAP but I did not found the pin code.
Using authenticate.asp do not work in mobility mode as the user is not associated to an IP Phone.
(In CCM 5.x there is method in AXL to check PIN ...)

thank you for the info, however authenticate.asp do not work in extension mobility as there is no device associated to the user.
In the mean time I have open a Developer Support Case but did not get a solution. PIN is store in CallManager database encrypted. The encrypting algorithm is not published.
Thansk and regards,

I guess you have your solution already:
"(In CCM 5.x there is method in AXL to check PIN ...) "
Sometimes the solution is upgrade - there are also a bunch of features that CCM 4.x doesn't have (and vice versa.. fortunately the full 4.2.3 featureset is in CCM 6.0) and sooner or later the standard response to many CCM queries will be "upgrade".

As many of you know upgrading from CCM4 to CCM5, 6 or 7 you end up losing your pins and passwords. I have an application that I have been developing that will recover these, re-populate the new CUCM version and provide for a more seamless upgrade stopping lots of calls to your helpdesk!!! Email me: help at truecomms.co.uk if you this could really help you (sorry not often in the newsgroups due to time constraints)
