Cisco Modeling Lab vs. Virtual Internet Routing Lab

Ok, So I've been using VIRL for over a year.

It looks like CML is simply a corporate version of VIRL.

Can anyone explain the roughly $8000 difference in price?

They look functionally very similar. I know one is a personal use license and one is for business but I'm hoping there is more of an explanation for the delta in price.

At that price for a VM I'd expect to be able to run production traffic over it.

CML is able to model much bigger networks - but you need considerably more hardware to do it.
