Hello team,
I was going through the specification of Cisco 9500 series switch and i have doubt regrading number of ports on nexus devices. Please refer to the image i have attached. Are there reallly 1152 10 gig ports on a nexus switch and are these ports the same that the end users connects to ?
Thanks

Hi Rick
thanks for the reply I didn’t get when we say we spilt 40 g module into 10 gig ports . Can you please share a document or can you explain how 40 gig port module can me spilt into multiple 10 gig module . I mean 40 gig port is a port on which end user will be connected . How can this port be spilt up to 10 gig port .
Thanks

Sure not a problem.
Cisco QSFP to Four SFP+ Copper Breakout Cables
Cisco QSFP to four SFP+ copper direct-attach breakout cables are suitable for very short distances and offer a very cost-effective way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks. These breakout cables connect to a 40G QSFP port of a Cisco switch on one end and to four 10G SFP+ ports of a Cisco switch on the other end. Cisco currently offers passive cables in lengths of 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 meters and active cables in lengths of 7 and 10 meters.
