DCNM and service nodes that float between ports

I want to create a service node in a fabric with DCNM 11.4.1 that is virtual and not connected to a specific port. As its a VM on ESXi it could spin up on any host across two leaves. It was suggested o me ages ago that this works and you do it using loopbacks and do the routing with eBGP mutiphop with anycast IP of network as an intermediary hop. The problem is that the service node pane in DCNM insists on you selecting a physical interface on a switch where the service node is attached.

What I am trying to do here is actually attach a VMware tier0 getaway but thats kind of irrelevant as this would surely apply to any virtualised firewall or load balancer, your virtualise it so it isn't host specific.
