I have a hypothetical scenario where the switch fabric is been extended out to a FEX, but the medium is SM fiber that goes to two Ciena Muxes and then ultimately terminating at the uplink ports on the FEX. Is this possible? Will the MUX alter the frames or VN tagging? Will there be issues with STP or MAC flooding? Please advise..thanks
