FabricPath as OTV internal interface?

As of NX-OS 6.2(6), F3 modules are supported in the Nexus 7700 series switches, and support all protocols including FabricPath and OTV.

My question is, does this mean we can now use FabricPath ports as the OTV internal interface facing our aggregation switch, or do they still need to be in CE mode?

Andrew,

I know your post is old, but I am having trouble finding the answer to this question for F2e modules now that they are supported as internal interfaces on OTV. Did you ever find the answer to your question?

Thank you,
Mark

Sorry, found this right after I posted. I assume this is the same for the F2e.

  • F3 Series modules in an OTV VDC should not have the VLAN mode configured as Fabricpath.

Hello Andrew,

FabricPath as OTV internal interface?
